Second Chance Authenticators provides professional third-party authentication services.
Because authentication is a service-based evaluation process, refund policies differ from retail product purchases.
Please review this policy carefully before submitting your order.
Order Cancellation (Before Item Is Received)
You may request cancellation before your item is received at our facility.
If cancellation is approved before intake processing begins, a full refund of the service fee will be issued.
Once an item has been logged into our system, cancellation is no longer guaranteed.
No Refunds After Authentication Has Started
Once authentication work has begun, service fees are non-refundable.
Authentication involves professional evaluation, documentation, and record creation.
Time and resources are committed immediately upon intake and review.
Refunds will not be issued based on dissatisfaction with the authentication outcome.
Outcome Disputes
Authentication results reflect our professional assessment based on observable characteristics at the time of review.
If an item is determined to be inauthentic, the service fee remains non-refundable.
Our evaluation does not guarantee resale eligibility or marketplace acceptance.
Shipping Disputes
Second Chance Authenticators is not responsible for:
- Carrier delays
- Lost shipments
- Damage caused during transit
- Customs processing issues
Shipping claims must be filed directly with the carrier.
We recommend insuring shipments according to item value.
Payment Disputes & Chargebacks
Initiating a chargeback after services have been performed constitutes a violation of this policy.
We reserve the right to:
- Provide documentation of service completion
- Submit registry records as evidence
- Invalidate associated certificate records if fraud is suspected
Disputed charges may result in permanent registry status changes.
Administrative Errors
If an administrative mistake occurs (such as incorrect record entry), we will correct the issue promptly at no additional charge.
Requests for corrections must reference the Order Number.
Special Review
In rare cases, refund requests may be reviewed at our sole discretion.
Approval of such requests does not establish precedent for future cases.
