Please review these guidelines carefully before submitting your eyewear for authentication.
How to Ship Your Eyewear
To ensure safe handling, please follow these packing guidelines:
- Remove accessories unless required for authentication
- Wrap eyewear securely in protective material
- Place inside a rigid box (do not use padded envelopes alone)
- Include your Order Number inside the package
- Do not ship without a tracking number
We strongly recommend using a carrier that provides tracking and delivery confirmation.
Inbound Shipping Responsibility
Customers are responsible for all inbound shipping costs.
Second Chance Authenticators does not provide shipping labels for incoming submissions unless otherwise arranged in writing.
All items are shipped to us at the customer's own risk.
We are not liable for loss, damage, or delays occurring while items are in transit to our facility.
Customers are encouraged to insure shipments according to the item’s value.
Upon Receipt of Your Submission
All packages are logged upon arrival.
If visible damage is observed at delivery, the condition will be documented.
If a package arrives damaged, you must file a claim directly with your shipping carrier.
Return Shipping
Return shipping costs are calculated after authentication is complete.
Before dispatch, you will receive confirmation of the return shipping cost.
No shipment will be made without your approval.
Shipping costs vary depending on destination, weight, and selected carrier.
Optional insurance may be added upon request.
Tracking information will be provided once the item has shipped.
Limitation of Liability
Second Chance Authenticators’ liability is limited to the amount paid for the authentication service.
We are not responsible for:
- Damage caused by carriers
- Undeclared pre-existing defects
- Manufacturer defects
- Wear, aging, or material degradation
Authentication services do not constitute a resale valuation, appraisal, or guarantee of future market value.
International Submissions
Customers outside the United States are responsible for:
- All shipping costs
- Customs declarations
- Duties or taxes
- Any delays related to customs processing
We are not responsible for customs-related delays or charges.
Items We May Refuse
We reserve the right to refuse:
- Items suspected to be counterfeit without authentication request
- Items that present health or safety concerns
- Incomplete submissions without order reference
If an item is refused, it will be returned at the customer’s expense.
